Beautiful vintage SylvaC/Falcon Ware ceramic shell mantel vase, model number 513, dating from approximately the 1930s–1950s. This highly collectible English pottery piece features the classic ribbed clam shell design with elegant stylised wave base associated with the iconic SylvaC shell range. Finished in a soft ivory-white crackle glaze, the piece displays wonderful sculptural texture and timeless coastal character. A striking decorative piece for coastal, Art Deco, Mid-Century, cottagecore or traditional interiors. Perfect as a mantel vase, planter, cachepot or decorative centrepiece. Shown styled with dried hydrangeas for inspiration. The glaze displays beautiful age-related crazing throughout, typical of authentic early-mid century ceramics and highly desirable among collectors of vintage English pottery.
