The scales are clean, sturdy and display beautifully. The brass pan has age-related marks, scratches and a natural patina consistent with decades of use. The painted body remains in good condition with light signs of age. One arm of the removable pan support has a small section missing, as shown in the photographs. The brass pan still sits securely on the support and the scales remain suitable for display. The original cast iron weights show expected surface wear and patina.
