Striking vintage metal wall plate with an ornate peacock and floral design in silver on a deep black ground. The front is richly decorated with four stylised peacocks in full feather surrounded by scrolling leaves and flowers, with a patterned border around the rim. The high contrast silver-on-black gives it a dramatic, almost tapestry-like look.
