Characterful mid-century British shop/kitchen scales with a gold painted cast-aluminium base and bold red Lock’s Scales decal to the front. The beam carries two aluminium pans (large flat pan and small pan) and the set comes with a handful of pre-decimal avoirdupois weights—great for styling a pantry shelf or café display, and it still balances for light demonstration. In fair vintage condition: Honest vintage wear throughout: paint losses and scuffs to the base, light surface rust to steel arms, pitting/tarnish and use marks to the aluminium pans, age darkening to the weights./oxidation to pans, all consistent with use.
