Beautiful, weighty vintage brass vase with intricate mixed–metal decoration. This hand–worked piece is made from solid brass with copper and silver-tone inlay, richly engraved with scrolling foliage and geometric panels around the body. The bulbous lota-style shape and warm metallic tones make it a striking accent for a shelf, sideboard or mantel. The vase is quite substantial in the hand (around 1.2 kg on my scales) and feels very solid, not thin sheet metal. It displays well on its own or grouped with other brass and boho/Global style pieces.
